Aerial Firework: Aerial Fireworks come in a large variety of effects and sizes and are the most beautiful of show pieces of the consumer fireworks (a show in a box). They are also called “Cakes” or “Repeaters.”

Safe and Sane This is a term for fireworks that do not have aerial effects or explode. Items that are classified as Safe and Sane include sparklers, snaps, smoke balls, fountains, snakes, and (in some cases) wheels.

Aerial Fireworks They include rockets, which are propelled into the sky before exploding, and air bombs, which detonate with a loud bang and often release a shower of sparks.
